Originaire de New York, Kara Cornell est une interprète polyvalente saluée pour sa voix expressive et son jeu intense. Joseph Decker (bass-baritone) has appeared in a wide range of operatic and concert performances throughout the Gulf Coast. With Pensacola Opera, he has performed as a member of the choir in Le Nozze di Figaro, Pagliacci, Die Fledermaus, Lucia di Lammermoor, Carousel, La bohème, Il barbiere di Siviglia, and Die Zauberflöte. His recent roles include Pandolfe in Massenet's Cendrillon and Guglielmo in Mozart's Così fan tutte at Florida State University.

On the concert stage, Joseph has appeared as a bass soloist in Mozart's Coronation Mass and Requiem and Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb. He has worked under conductors Cody Martin, Jerome Shannon, Peter Steenblik, and Bernard McDonald.

A native of Florida, Joseph earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of West Florida, where he studied with Corey McKern. He currently attends Florida State University, pursuing a Master of Music in Vocal Performance under the instruction of David Okerlund.

Australian Mezzo-Soprano Genevieve Droppert holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Performance and a Graduate Diploma in Music (Opera Performance). Genevieve has studied at The Royal Northern College of Music and The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM). She was a Gertrude Johnson Young Artist with the Australian Contemporary Opera Company (ACOCo – 2022) and a member of Opera Scholars Australia (2022-2025).

Her operatic credits include Dialogues des Carmélites, Die Zauberflöte (MCM); Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, The Book of Longing (ACOCo); The Grumpiest Boy in The World and English Eccentrics (Victorian Opera).

Genevieve is passionate about challenging traditional representations of women in opera — her Honours thesis was titled "Patriarchal Narratives in Nico Muhly's Marnie (2017): Examining Power Dynamics and Sexual Violence".

Stephen Dubberly enseigne à l'Université du Texas du Nord et a dirigé l'Opéra de l'UNT pendant 19 ans. Chef d'orchestre de Carmen, il a dirigé pour des compagnies prestigieuses aux États-Unis et en Italie.

Il est actuellement directeur artistique d'Opera in Concert à Dallas et en Italie. Formé à Yale, il a coaché des chanteurs renommés et dirigé des productions internationales.

Caroline Friend is an American Mezzo-Soprano passionate about performing and producing opera for the modern audience. Known for her "good-natured charm" (ClevelandClassical), her stage roles include "Hänsel" (Hänsel und Gretel), "Mercédès" (Carmen), "Zerlina" (Don Giovanni), "Presendia" (Dark Sisters), "Orlofsky" (Die Fledermaus), "Mère Marie" (Dialogues des Carmélites), and the "Spirit" in the Opera Film Dido & Aeneas in collaboration with Red Point Digital.

Caroline will begin her residency at the Toledo Opera in their 2026-2027 season. Friend returns for her second year at Lyric Arts France, reprising the role of "Cherubino" (Le nozze di Figaro). She performed the role in the 2024 La Musica Lirica Festival in Italy and at the Estates Theatre in Prague Summer Nights 2023.

Under the tutelage of acclaimed soprano Dina Kuznetsova, she completed her Master's and Bachelor's Degrees in Vocal Performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music with a Minor in Music Theory. While completing her studies, Friend often performed in CIM Opera Theatre's mainstage operas, opera scene programs, and collaborative recitals. In concert, Friend was a featured soloist in the 1st Annual Vincent DeMio Scholarship Gala in 2026 and in the Centennial Anniversary Concert of the Beaver Valley Choral Society in 2023.

She has been invited to perform in "Musical Stars in the Classics", a concert organization dedicated to performance opportunities for world-class young artists in Northeast Ohio. An avid recitalist, Friend won the Diamond Prize and Best Debussy Performance Award in the 2026 Debussy International Music Competition. She is a recipient of the 2026 Helen Curtis Webster Award, the 2025 Boris Goldovsky Prize in Opera for the most outstanding operatic performance and the 2024 Ernest Bloch Artistic Distinction Scholarship. She won 1st Prize of the 2024 American International Music Competition in Group I for Voice, and 2nd Prize for the 2023 ACPC Marcella Kochańska Sembrich Vocal Competition, granting a full scholarship to perform "Cherubino" in 2024. Friend performed in masterclasses under Kirill Kuzman, Julius Drake, and Annemarie Kremer. An advocate of early music performance, Friend specializes in Gregorian chant and Renaissance polyphony in Scholas across Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Yuta Kimura est un baryton japonais né à Oita. Il est diplômé de l'Université des Arts de Tokyo, où il a obtenu un Bachelor en chant, et poursuit actuellement un Master en chant au Conservatoire royal de Liège, dont il est en deuxième année, avec un diplôme prévu en 2026.

Au Japon, il a interprété plusieurs rôles d'opéra, notamment Marcello (La Bohème), Le Dancaïre (Carmen) et Harlekin (Ariadne auf Naxos), ainsi que le rôle du Chef dans Hell Screen de Ronen Shapira, créé à l'occasion du 30e anniversaire du Theatre X à Tokyo. En France, il a chanté le rôle de Zurga (Les pêcheurs de perles) dans le cadre du Festival de Musique Autour du Ventoux.

En concert, il s'est produit comme soliste dans la Symphonie n°9 de Beethoven et le Requiem de Fauré, et a interprété le rôle de Jésus dans la Passion selon saint Matthieu de Bach. Il se produit également régulièrement comme choriste basse avec le Chœur de Chambre de Namur, avec lequel il a participé à des productions avec l'Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège et Les Ambassadeurs – La Grande Écurie, notamment dans la Missa solemnis de Beethoven, la Symphonie n°2 « Résurrection » de Mahler et Die erste Walpurgisnacht de Mendelssohn. Il a également pris part à la création de La Revanche de l'Arbre de Patrick Leterme.

Basé en Allemagne, le ténor américain Jeff Martin mène une brillante carrière internationale, entre opéra, concert et création contemporaine. Il s'illustre sous la direction de chefs comme Kazushi Ono ou B. Kontarsky, et dans des mises en scène de D. Tcherniakov, Y. Oida ou K. Warner.

Il incarne Bellomy dans Les Fantasticks au Festival Opéra Bastide 2025.

Anne Maugard, mezzo-soprano formée en France et en Italie, chante avec des ensembles prestigieux comme Les Arts Florissants, Pygmalion ou Les Siècles. Elle se produit dans de grandes salles européennes et festivals internationaux.

Enseignante au Conservatoire de l'Aveyron, elle est aussi metteuse en scène et investie dans des créations contemporaines.

Originaire d'El Paso, Texas et d'origine mexicano-américaine, le baryton Luis Alejandro Orozco est salué pour la richesse de sa voix et la beauté de son legato.

Figure incontournable du rôle d'El Payador dans Maria de Buenos Aires, il se produit régulièrement aux États-Unis (Metropolitan Opera, Nashville, Madison, etc.) et à l'international, notamment en Suisse, en Corée du Sud et en France.

David Štech est chef d'orchestre distingué, avec une vaste expérience dans l'opéra, les orchestres symphoniques et les groupes choraux. Il a dirigé le New York Lyric Opera, Sarasota Opera, et l'Orchestre de Floride.

Chef d'orchestre de Les Fantasticks, il est aussi fondateur du New York Conducting Institute. Ancien professeur à la Manhattan School of Music, il a étudié à Northwestern.

MunTzung Wong mène une carrière polyvalente de pianiste, cheffe d'orchestre, mezzo-soprano, coach et pédagogue. Directrice musicale à New York, elle se produit à Carnegie Hall ou Lincoln Center, et a dirigé Anna Bolena avec Dell'Arte Opera.

Fondatrice du New York Conducting Institute, elle forme les artistes au sein de son studio privé.

Venezuelan lyric soprano Katherine Yagua graduated with honors from the Simón Bolívar Music Conservatory (2022) and has continued her vocal training under renowned tenor Idwer Álvarez.

Her oratorio and concert repertoire includes soprano soloist in Vivaldi's Gloria in D Major (2015, 2017), Orff's Carmina Burana (2023–2024), Verdi's Messa da Requiem (May 2025), and Mahler's Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection" (February 2026) with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra.

On the operatic stage, she has performed Giulietta in Bellini's I Capuleti e i Montecchi (2022) and the Countess in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro (December 2025). She made her role debut as the Countess under the musical direction of Christian Vásquez, vocal coaching of Massimiliano Bullo and stage direction of Marco Gandini.

In 2025, she was selected as a finalist in the 17th International Singing Competition "Città di Brescia – Tribute to Maria Callas" in Italy. She continues to expand her artistic horizons, combining her solid technical foundation with a growing international presence.

Tianchen Zhou (they/them) is a Boston-based operatic tenor. They graduated from Vassar College with a double concentration in Geography and Music and are currently a graduate student at Longy School of Music studying with Sandra Piques Eddy.

Tianchen's recent highlights include gender-bending Giuditta's seductive aria "Meine Lippen, sie küssen so heiß" at the annual voice department gala of Longy School, appearing as Idamante in the school production of Mozart's Idomeneo, singing as soloist at Saint Paul's Parish of Harvard University Catholic Center, and passing the chorus audition for Boston Lyric Opera.

Through music and storytelling, they strive to build safe and empathetic communities, foster meaningful connections, and encourage active listening and open dialogue. Beyond singing, Tianchen is a fiery actor, an avid vocal pedagogy enthusiast, a dedicated teacher, and a contracted professional photographer and graphic designer. Tianchen is especially passionate about bridging contrasting disciplines to unleash unexpected magic.
